Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Dependable Funds Recovery website and any information you submit through it. By using this website, submitting a form, or communicating with us through the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this website.
We may need to update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on this page is the version that applies to your use of the site.
Website Use
This website is provided for general informational purposes and to let you request a free claim review. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes and not to interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or harvest data, or submit information about another person without that person's permission.
Dependable Funds Recovery Services
Dependable Funds Recovery is a claims recovery service. We help former property owners, heirs, and other potential claimants identify and pursue surplus funds (also called excess proceeds or overages) left over after a tax or mortgage foreclosure sale.
Dependable Funds Recovery is not a law firm and does not provide legal, tax, accounting, or investment advice. Nothing on this website creates an attorney-client relationship. Where a jurisdiction requires licensed counsel to petition for excess proceeds, we associate local attorneys.
Availability, eligibility rules, procedures, and deadlines for surplus funds are set by each jurisdiction and vary by state and county.
No Guarantee of Recovery or Outcome
Nothing on this website is a promise, guarantee, or prediction that surplus funds exist in your case, that you are entitled to them, or that any particular amount or timeline will result. Claim outcomes depend on facts, records, competing claims, court and county processes, and deadlines outside our control. Unclaimed funds may escheat permanently if a deadline passes.
Information on this site is general information only and is not a determination of eligibility.
Accuracy of Information Submitted
You agree that the information you submit is accurate, complete, and yours to provide. We rely on what you give us to evaluate a possible claim, and inaccurate or incomplete information can delay or prevent a recovery. You are responsible for keeping your contact information current so we can reach you about your request.
Electronic Communications
By providing your contact information, you agree that we may contact you electronically — including by email, and by phone or text where you have separately provided that number and, for text messages, opted in — about your inquiry and any resulting review or claim. You may ask us to communicate with you by a different method at any time.
Email and text messages are not fully secure methods of communication. Please do not send sensitive documents by unsecured email; we provide a secure client portal for documents once a claim is underway.
SMS / Text Messaging Terms
By voluntarily opting in, you may receive recurring SMS/text messages from Dependable Funds Recovery at the mobile number you provide.
Service and transactional messages may include:
- Requested follow-up
- Appointment reminders
- Document requests
- Claim or case-status updates
- Account and service notifications
- Responses to customer inquiries
SMS / Text Messaging Terms — details
If you separately opt in to marketing messages, those messages may include promotional or informational marketing communications.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
To stop receiving messages, reply STOP. For help, reply HELP, call (631) 315-2880, or email claims@dependablefundsrecovery.com.
Service/transactional consent and marketing consent are separate choices. Opting out of marketing messages does not by itself terminate unrelated services or communications you have requested. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing or using Dependable Funds Recovery services.
For details on how we handle mobile information and consent data, see our Privacy Policy. These Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy apply to all text messaging with us.
Relationship to a Signed Recovery / Service Agreement
These website Terms do not replace, modify, or limit any signed surplus-funds recovery or service agreement between you and Dependable Funds Recovery. If you become a client and sign a recovery/service agreement, that signed agreement governs the recovery engagement — including fees, scope, authorizations, and termination — wherever its terms differ from these general website Terms.
Intellectual Property
The content on this website — including text, layout, graphics, logos, and the Dependable Funds Recovery name — is owned by or licensed to Dependable Funds Recovery and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish, resell, or create derivative works from site content without our written permission.
Third-Party Links
This website may link to third-party websites, such as county offices, courts, or state unclaimed property resources, for your convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by any government agency.
Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
This website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the general information on it is complete or current for your jurisdiction.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dependable Funds Recovery is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost recoveries, arising out of your use of this website or your reliance on general information published on it. Nothing in this section limits any obligation we owe you under a signed recovery/service agreement.
Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on this page. Changes apply going forward from the date they are posted. Your continued use of the website after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
